The Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) will be hosting the 95th Nationals Tennis Championship at its hard courts from August 26 to September 3, it was announced on Thursday (Aug. 19) at the SLTA headquarters in Colombo.
The Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) will be hosting the 95th Nationals Tennis Championship at its hard courts from August 26 to September 3, it was announced on Thursday (Aug. 19) at the SLTA headquarters in Colombo.
The SLTA in a communiqué said on Thursday that it hoped to receive a total of 100 entries approximately and the Veterans events were to receive around 45 entries.
Avantha Suranimala will be the Tournament Referee. Tournament Director will be Lt. Col. Shiran Abeysekera. The official ball will be Dunlop Forte.
The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the International Tennis Federation Code of Conduct. The Main Draw Mens Singles and Doubles matches will be played under the best‐of‐five‐set format with tie‐break at six all, final set being an advantage set. All Main Draw events will be restricted to 32 players. The Qualifying Draws will be worked off on August 25.

Womens Singles and Doubles, Mens Singles and doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Veteran events for over‐35 players.
Wheelchair Singles and Doubles.
